Now a special treat as we are joined by a Sedona Resident Vortex Specialist to guide us to experience the power of the vortexes for ourselves. On a vortex site, of which Sedona has 4, it is said that the earth’s unseen lines of power intersect to form an energy field. How this actually affects one’s Sedona experience may vary greatly. See what the vortexes hold for you. Our Vortex Specialist will explain more as we visit 2 or 3 of the vortexes to experience the different mysticism and energy of each. (Different program than last year.)

Free time to explore galleries and shops and lunch at on of Sedona’s delightful cafes.

Then on to fascinating JEROME, the resurrected ghost town built on the cliffs of an arid desert mountain top. Founded as a copper mining town in 1876, Jerome survived several booms and busts with a peak population of 15,000 that dwindled to a few dozen hardy souls by the 1950’s. Since that time, the town has become a haven for artists who have lovingly restored the Victorian era homes and transformed abandoned shops into modern galleries. Today you’ll find shops, restaurants and galleries bursting with the rich history, lore, and yes, ghosts, of the old west.
